One of the most anticipated battles is set to unfold in North East Delhi, where political activist Kanhaiya Kumar will go head-to-head against BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, known not just for his political stature but also for his contributions to the Bhojpuri music industry.

Kanhaiya Kumar, a former JNUSU president and vocal advocate for social justice, rose to national prominence during the 2016 protests and subsequently entered electoral politics. His entry into the Congress fold in 2021 adds a new dimension to the electoral landscape, setting the stage for a riveting contest in North East Delhi.

The Congress’ strategic lineup also includes JP Agarwal, a seasoned leader, contesting from the historic Chandni Chowk constituency. Agarwal’s political experience spans decades, having previously represented the constituency in multiple terms.
